| Do a bit deeper research than 'the last four games', you mental midget. He started out as a defensive coach and his D at Cinci consistently rated in the top 4th of D1 in the categories that are the best metrics of defensive performance. Teams do not go unbeaten with bad or even average defenses. His D went out to Corvallis with 10 new starters (including a former ND QB at linebacker) and held the Beavers to 18 points. The numbers in 3 of the last 4 are from a number of factors, one of which being that when there are more possessions (as Cinci scores very quickly), there are more opportunities to score, and more scores. Also, in 2 of the 3 big scoring games (Ill. and UConn), Cinci built a huge lead well before the other team started putting up big points - presumably defensive intensity waned, and you give credit to the offenses for taking advantage of it.
But yea - don't argue about what you dont know anything about; there's always the chance someone will call your bluff. |
