Good one! Only thing is that you spelled 'international' wrong for Kansas City, Providence, New Orleans, Louisville, and Hartford.

Just a suggested edit: Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International is actually located in Kentucky, not Ohio.

I've even read about how airport codes work and I still don't understand. Got 2 of 'em.

This one was FUN. I got all but Southwest FL and Bradley until I figured out which city those were in...then I knew the code.

I think a better approach is to give the name and IATA code, then ask for the city; it's a bit more doable and does away with much of the random guessing. Try this one out: http://www.sporcle.com/games/ffl/airports

I'm surprised that Pittsburgh isn't higher than 67% at this point. I'd imagine that PIT would be most people's first guess.

A lot of these codes come from former names of the airport. New Orleans, for example, used to be called "Moissant Field." Although that doesn't explain where the "Y" came from, it does explain the "MS."

for me, as a non-US person, most of the codes seem completely random. got only two.

They're not random, just arcane. For instance, CMH used to stand for Columbus Municipal Hanger. CVG, for Cincinnati, comes from the nearest city (Covington, Kentucky) etc.
