	Good quiz, but needs renaming. The number of bowl appearances is the career number for each coach. For example, MAck Brown has only coached Texas to 12 bowl games, while taking UNC to 5 and Tulane to 1. Drop the college to the left, or explain it is a hint based on the school the coach may have garnered the most fame or time served, or whatever.

	Yeah that was a little confusing. Just drop the school names. I know you said it at the top but I never read those - I see the school name and start answering the top ones who reached almost all their bowls at those schools - then I start thinking that way. When it was over and I saw you had Holtz at 22 bowl games only then did I fully realize I did the quiz wrong.

	Big 10 coaches from the mid 70's and earlier were hurt by the fact that only one school from the conference went to a bowl game(Rose Bowl) each season.

	@doughash ... not really. Pretty much every conference operated that way until the mid-70s. There may be 36 bowl games now, but there were less than 10 through most of the 60s and 70s. The Big 10 and Pac 10 champs went to the Rose Bowl. The Big 8 champ went to the Orange Bowl. The SWC champ went to the Cotton Bowl. Etc. If you didn't win your conference, you pretty much stayed home.

	@troyc4 and crazycat72 maybe you should pay more attention to the comments in the directions. "School is where most bowl games were played at, some coaches coached at more than 1 school" Lou Holtz went to a bowl game coaching William & Mary. He went to 4 bowl games at NC State. 6 bowl games at Arkansas. He coached the Irish to 9 bowl appearances, and South Carolina to 2. That's 22 bowl appearances, the MOST of which were with Notre Dame. He also led Minnesota to a bowl appearance, but left for the Notre Dame job, and thus did not actually coach the bowl game, or else the number would be 23.

	Clint, go look who they played in the Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl or Cotton Bowl. Often it was a school from another major conference. Plus you had several minor bowls such as the Sun Bowl (started in 1935), Gator Bowl (started in 1945), and Liberty Bowl (started in 1959). The Big 10 was the only one not sending multiple teams to bowls on an annual basis.

	A note for future commenters: For the purposes of this quiz we are not going to factor in which bowl wins were vacated by the NCAA--i.e., all games coached are included. The reason for this is that bowl losses are not vacated by the NCAA, only wins, and it makes little sense to include games lost but not games won on this leaderboard. We also try to avoid conflicting with the source given whenever possible.
