I think you left off Reed College, with 31.

Typed UNC and then North Carolina; it didn't register for University of North Carolina. Anyone else have this problem?

UNC should've worked, added North Carolina as a possible answer. Also, fixed Reed College, my bad for not spotting that earlier.

I bet Duke and UNC hate that they're tied on this.

Duke probably hates it more than UNC; the Tar Heels aren't the ones calling themselves the Harvard of the South.

Duke and UNC aren't tied anymore. This year's Rhodes winners were just announced a couple of weeks ago - UNC has 2, Duke has 0.

I only remembered Montana because it was a question once on my local public access channel's trivia show about completely unbelievable trivia. Heh.
More importantly: Can it accept Naval Academy? I think it ultimately took "US N," which is awkward. Also, I vote for Rhodes College as a bonus, even if it's only had 7. ;)

I couldn't believe I couldn't think of the #4 answer. I thought I had guessed all of the usual suspects of the top schools. Then I saw the quiz was submitted by BeatNavy and thought, Hmmmmmm.

I don't mean to be picky, but this list is completely incorrect. It must be that the source used is only for American universities only. McGill University for example has produced something around 130 Rhodes Scholars, yet the source given for this quiz lists it as only having 1. I presume this 1 individual was an American and is therefore included in the table. In any case, the quiz should either be completely redone, or have its title changed to read "Can you name the American colleges which have produced the most Rhodes Scholars?"

Just to prove my point here is a list of the (at that time) 125 Rhodes Scholars from McGill. http://www.mcgill.ca/newsroom/news/item/?item_id=13671

You should really specify it is for American colleges only, Rhode scholarships are granted to a number of countries (mostly Commonwealth countries). There is no way some Australian and Canadian universities are not on the list

Agree with the last few comments. The source for the quiz is the Office of the American Secretary of the Rhodes Trust. Given that only 40% of the scholarships are allocated to the American Office (the rest going to Commonwealth members), the quiz should make that clear.

Very interesting quiz, a few surprises, but fun to play! Would like to see a sequel with some type of Rhodes Scholar/gender break-down quiz.

@JC3: I kinda figured that would be how people knew it was only for American schools. That was what gave it away to me, anyway. But I agree with others that it should be made clearer.
@ted: You're confusing Reed with Hampshire. Common mistake. Most Hampshire students do the same thing. ;)

@Esme: The use of the word 'college' threw me off in the other direction: I thought the quiz was 'Which Oxford Colleges accept the most Rhodes Scholars.'

No, this ought to be titled "colleges", not "universities"; several of the colleges on the correct list are not universities (Swarthmore, Williams, Reed).

The new results are available from a link at http://www.rhodesscholar.org/stats/ . Also they note: We hesitate to publish this due to the ease in which these statistics are misused and misinterpreted, but we do so as lists like this are now widely available but frequently inaccurate. Please keep in mind though that the Rhodes Scholarship competition has never been a national one, so state and institutional comparisons are not particularly relevant or meaningful.
