hollabackitsobi : Apr 8th, 2012 at 22:37 GMT 31 points Please, please stop making clickable quizzes minefields.
rsplenda477 : Apr 9th, 2012 at 15:59 GMT 4 points Karl Malone???
generalshrapnel : Apr 9th, 2012 at 17:12 GMT 19 points I kind of assumed that everyone already in the Hall of Fame has a 100% chance of making it.
chriskotx : Apr 9th, 2012 at 17:50 GMT 7 points I'd still like some explanation of how a 2 time MVP with 4 rings (and the initals TD) would have even a 0.01% chance of NOT making the HOF.
munga : Apr 9th, 2012 at 18:09 GMT -3 points Where did this info even come from?
barnztormre : Apr 9th, 2012 at 18:46 GMT 3 points ^ the link on the homepage is from basketball-reference.com, a reliable source.
Bulletchewer6 : Apr 10th, 2012 at 00:51 GMT -4 points Terrible, terrible quiz. Do us all a favor & delete it.
Comment below threshold: show it Bdogrox2 : Apr 10th, 2012 at 01:20 GMT -11 points Why...jealous? I'm just getting the info from my source! And u call this terrible? Says the one who made the quiz, "50 British Comedians". Ahahha. Wow, what a shame...
izzykrazee : Apr 10th, 2012 at 01:44 GMT 4 points I thought this quiz was interesting, but the information from the source was confusing. The quiz I enjoyed because it showed the 16 best of the best. The confusing part to me was the information from Basketball Reference (an excellent resource). According to the source, Reggie Miller only had a 0.0644, and Chris Mullin only had a 0.1318 chance to make the Hall of Fame. Did those two just "Get really lucky" this year?
akabuca96 : Apr 10th, 2012 at 03:46 GMT 6 points Guys, can we stop with the mean and childish comments though. And honestly i don't think that bdogrox2 is in a position to say much with a -0.91 comment score...im just putting that out there ;¬)
dknox5 : Apr 10th, 2012 at 20:12 GMT 1 point I believe the people at basketball-reference openly admit that this formula isn't perfect, as it can only take quantifiable factors into account. The relevance of Reggie Miller and Chris Mullin to the game helped them get in, while some players with more impressive statistics and other accomplishments aren't quite as well-regarded. If you don't like the formula, you don't have to agree with it, but that's what this quiz is based on. It's certainly not "terrible".
Spoon : Apr 12th, 2012 at 07:19 GMT 5 points I like the idea of the quiz, but I hate that it's a minefield. I dislike minefield "quizzes" in general, but if you're going to make one then your list had better have a large number of obvious items. The criteria for this list was obscure, and as a result my attempt was over almost as soon as it began. Honestly, considering the question being asked and the amount of guessing most people will need to answer it, this should have been created as a regular quiz, not a clickable.
alkalinesolo : Apr 27th, 2012 at 22:55 GMT 2 points One of the worst quizzes ever.
agtheking : May 14th, 2012 at 15:23 GMT 1 point basketball reference is a reliable source, but we can all debate a few of these. Malone and Olajuwon should be .99 if anything. If Jordan and the bulls weren't around in the 90s, they could have won much more.
gr8dane : Jun 8th, 2012 at 00:27 GMT 1 point if this is based on the information provided by basketball reference its 100% wrong. If you scroll down on the player pages of Olajuwon and Malone, they each have a Hall of Fame Probability of 0.9999
J_A_F : Aug 19th, 2012 at 12:31 GMT 1 point malone and hakkem are in the hall of fame already
colin12345 : Feb 4th, 2013 at 19:22 GMT 1 point Stupid game...made no sense.
