Er, you have US Presidents, US States, and Chinese Zodiac Signs as correct answers. Nixon, Texas, and the Ox would beg to differ.

@Kiratroid: The quiz is about things that
start
with X, not things that
contain
X.

Pope names is a bit of a borderline case, since Xystus is an alternative spelling for some of the Popes Sixtus (e.g. at http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/547139/Saint-Sixtus-III )

Almost got me with books of the Bible (X-odus) and big four teams(X -pos). OK I know Expos haven't existed for over 10 years. Still thought of them:-)

Pope names is incorrect. The name Sixtus is a latinization of the Greek name Xystus (5 popes with this name). Look it up!!!

@tonybraintree: Popes go by Latin. Not Greek.

This is a great example of a clickable quiz that exemplifies why there needs to be some way to "rule out" answers you know you don't want to click - I had to keep reminding myself of all the categories I had already ruled out. Some way to toggle between picking answers and picking things that are NOT answers would be awesome.

Having been to Xi'an and knowing both of the existence of the school Xavier and the lack of existence of a Pope Xavier made this a lot easier for me.

@strags11: it would be enough to rename the current constellation Dorado (near the southern celestial pole) as Xiphias, an alternative name it had until ca. 1800. (It was the original name, being Greek for "swordfish"; the current name Dorado is Spanish for some species of golden-colored fish).

Just had to remark that I recognized this quiz's "X" icon on the front page, because I just bought that album a few days ago (The xx, Coexist). Excellent album.

So afraid to click those BIG categories, like Oscar best pictures, books of the Bible, etc. First instincts are usually right. Except for popes.

@tonybraintree: Whichever way you look at it, it's wrong. "Xystus" itself is an incorrect latinisation of the Greek Ξυστος. As you can see, there are no X's there, only a ξ.
