It took me a while just to even find these 4 categories. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. I hope you enjoy the quiz!

Much harder than I thought. Three or four easy answers into the quiz, I suddenly ran low on intellect. More, please!

You need to accept Aluminium as an A element. It is spelled that way most of the way around the world

The street name category is sort of silly. There are tons of things that are used in street names, there's not an exhaustive list. For example, the first "E" one I thought of was "esplanade," which isn't even an answer. Otherwise, I liked the quiz a lot, it was a lot of fun.

Look at the first two categories. Psh, this should be a piece of cake. Way too much time. [Fast forward 1 minute]Holy crap! I don't know any constellations that begin with E or I, nor do I know any street suffixes that start with E, I, O or U.

Y may have been left out, but it has nothing to feel bad about. If it wasn't for Y, we'd have Krgzstan!

@ari18: actually, for the U.S. (as the category says), there is: http://pe.usps.gov/text/pub28/28apc_001.html

@adhair: that source is just a list of abbreviations used by the Postal Service... it isn't anything like a comprehensive list of street suffixes, nor does it claim to be one. Even if there was a list of street suffixes somewhere (that list is not one) it could not possibly be comprehensive, so players of this quiz would still have no way of knowing what was included without cheating and checking the list. Such a large, indefinite category is silly for a quiz like this. You need things like African countries or chemical elements that have a limited and definite set of answers.

The first thing I thought of for "O street suffixes" was "Overlook." This really exists, although it is not on the authoritative list. I found two examples rather quickly (search for "Devil's Backbone Overlook, Stonewall, VA" and "Perch Overlook NW, Marietta, GA" in Google Maps).

Quiz, Y U NO accept England as a country?

@AeryFairy: Because the standard Sporcle answer is the United Kingdom. It recognizes England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland as a collective unit. England won't work, but go ahead and try UK.

My brain: "What's the first country beginning with A that I can think of? I know, America. No? Azerbaijan! I can think of nothing else but Azerbaijan! Oh, it's going to be such fun seeing her try to spell that one under pressure."

Good quiz, but I found both the constellations and the u.s. streets categories to be tough. a) I am not really into astrology, and b) my mind just went blank on the street names.

@Skauld: a good point in remembering the Habsburg motto (AEIOU stood for Austriae Est Imperare Orbi Universo, something like "Austria must rule over the whole world"). @Rob42: constellations belong to the field of astronomy rather than astrology. In astrology you have only 12 (Aries to Pisces, none of which begins with E, I, O or U) but the true astronomical constellations are 88 (probably you have heard names like "Orion" or "Andromeda").
