I like the concept, but the questions are a bit easy. What I think would be cool is if you went to j-archive.com and got some old questions and used those instead. That would make the quiz a bit more entertaining in my opinion.

Maybe it's because I've never seen Jeopardy but I have absolutely no idea what to do in this quiz. I keep typing Colombia, Pacific Ocean, Chicago and Canberra but none of that works?

@rhys: On Jeopardy, the role of questions and answers are reversed. If the board says Ottawa (the answer) the contestant must say "What is the capital of Canada?". Failure to do so counts as a wrong response. So for this quiz, just type in "what is colombia" and you should advance.

What do you have to type to get the mountain range in Kyrgyzstan? I expected it to be "what are the Tian Shan mountains?" and I tried a load of alternatives including using Himalayas instead but I just can't get it!

It accepts Tien Shan. The "Tian" spelling really should be an acceptable alternative

A_is_for_Addict: 'What is Tian Shan' works. I think your answer wasn't accepted because you used the plural.

@TheBestDrose: But did you type in 'What is Sweden?'. Gosh. People really need to either read the directions or just watch more Jeopardy.

Caspian Sea as a lake is kind of controversial. Geologically it's a small ocean. Therefore I didn't even think of it and just tried Lake Superior and Lake Victoria which I knew to be the two largest lakes in the world. Was confused it didn't work, checked it, turns out, you should accept Lake Superior. Because Caspian Sea is not a 100% right answer.

For anyone having trouble with the concept... Y'all need to watch more joepardy. the answaers need to be said for a question. for example, if the question was 'this author wrote the book Tom Sawyer', you would respond with 'who is Mark Twain'

Saying "what is" or "who is" works on Jeopardy and in speaking, but on here it's just annoying.

@packmanwiscy "Y'all need to watch more joepardy". We're not all Americans, mate. Oh, and it's Jeopardy not joepardy.

This is really confusing because you don't have a first clue so I was just randomly guessing which is kind of stupid.

couldn't figure out how to start since it was just a blank board with nothing showing. like buonragazzo I was just randomly guessing which is not the point of a trivia knowledge game.

I was also confused by this quiz. I think it would be helpful if the quiz started off by just giving us the first clue in each category (as opposed to having us type in the category name).
