I really enjoyed this quiz. I'm a little confused as to why you put Delibird in between a bunch of first-gen Pokemon under "held objects" That tripped me up as I was trying to figure out what it was, because I was expecting it to be a Pokemon between Marowak and Hitmonchan since the rest of the answers were in National Dex order. Great job otherwise though! And welcome to Sporcle!

Very nice quiz, very very challenging but also creative. I was surprised though about some things, like Wobbuffet and Wynaut being under multiple faces.
Jun 23rd, 2010 at 13:54 GMT
Er, Not* being under multiple faces. I think they should be.

Also, I think you could add another column for multiple forms, e.g. Castform, Shaymin, Giratina, Unown, etc.

BlueOrb: About the Delibird thing. Hitmonchan is actually a bonus answer because many people could see the boxing gloves as being subjective. Delibird is supposed to come after Marowak, but you must have found Hitmonchan first. Sorry, though, for the mishap. Pimpmuffin07: You know, I was originally planning to have Wobbuffet and Wynaut, but when I looked them up, it turns out the eyes on their tails are actually just markings, not faces. However, I'll be sure to add them as extras just for you :)

Really oughtta have Anorith and Armaldo in for shells, their dex entries mention their shells. Also surprised not to see Silcoon and Cascoon, considering Metapod and Kakuna.
Jun 23rd, 2010 at 14:57 GMT
JayHanEdLyon: Armaldo should be in for shells, but not Anorith. I researched Anorith and it does not mention shells anywhere, but I'll still add it as a bonus answer. Also, Silcoon and Cascoon do not have shells because their bodies are made entirely of silk. Again, I will add them as bonus answers.

Multiple Forms is up!

You forgot Spinda in Multiple Forms.

Matty: I changed the title for that category to Multiple Structural Forms to clear up any subjectivity. Thanks for the input!

Fun quiz. I was also thinking of Spinda for multiple forms. Also Parasect for having a shell (technically?)

If you're gonna put Nidoran under multiple structual forms then I'd consider making it a bonus because they don't change their form at all. Personally, I'd take it off here altogether. Yes, there is a male Nidoran and there is a female Nidoran, but they are two completely different Pokemon. It's not the same situation as, for example, Arceus or Castform, that can change their structure but still remain the same Pokemon. Also, your Mr. Mime answer needs to be fixed under the boots column. It only works without a space between Mr and Mime. I tried it with a space and it wasn't accepted.

I, personally, see Golem as having a shell, but I guess it is debatable. Great quiz! I love your cleverness with the word "shell" and Chansey being a choice, especially since one needs to put in Exeggcute for one category, making it easy to figure out from there. Let it be known that I put Chansey thinking that the Egg counted as a held item (Lucky Egg)

Great quiz! Really different, fun, and challenging, which is what everyone is looking for in a quiz! Just one suggestion: could you add Lopunny to the "boots" section. It was the first Pokemon I thought of when I saw that category. And if you look at its Bulbapedia page under the "Origin" category at the very bottom, it mentions that it's wearing boots.

how come all the multiple forms ones are the least guessed?

Can I nominate Parasect as a shelled Pokemon?
