| in reference to an earlier post - thurman thomas was a hall of famer, but OJ was one of the 5 to 7 best running backs of all time. (Brown, Payton, Sanders top 3, then you got gale sayers, oj, eric dickerson, maybe earl campbell or tomlinson, but already were getting to guys that OJ was better than. Clips of him in his prime - wow. Like Chuck Klosterman said, you could make a very strong case that OJ was the best player of the entire 1970's. thurman Thomas wasn't even the best rb in the nfl while he was playing, though he was still a great player. |
