	And you should rename this to the top hitters by batting average, because "top hitter" would include much more than just batting average.

	Aviles only made 13 appearances at shortstop for a total of 52 plate appearances while playing that position. He mostly played 2B. Bentancourt was their normal SS. By that measure, Infante shouldn't be on there either, as he only had 291 PA as a 2B. And if you want to get real picky, Posey only had 320 PA while catching; the rest of his came as at 1B.

	The top hitter is batting average, it's other categories that need specificity. Thanks for the Aviles heads up, but as for the rest, it goes by what position the person played the most, Infante made more appearances at 2nd than 3rd and Posey had more at Catcher than 1st, but since they both qualified AB wise, they're included for their primary position.

	I have to agree that 'top hitter' is misleading. 'Top Batting Average' would be fine, but 'Top Hitter' implies more than batting average.

	White Sox had some dirty hitters and one of the best starting staffs. If they had a reliable closer (aka not Bobby Jenks) they would've made the playoffs and had a good chance at beating the yanks.

	I'm personally a Twins fan, and when they got Manny, I got pretty scared. Nasty rotation with speed and power is unstoppable, but the East dominated so the Sox couldn't even give the Wild Card a run.

	He didn't have 400 at bats though, just shy, same with Nelson Cruz, actually had 399. If it was Plate Appearances, they would both be included.

	Why should Ruiz and Cruz be penalized because they walk a lot? That just makes them a better player... it should go by PA

	You should probably use what MLB uses which is 3.1 PA/Game or 502 PA.

	That doesn't necessarily make them better, it could make them smarter actually. I wouldn't say it penalizes them, but you have to draw a line somewhere. 300 AB is too low and 500 is too high. Youkilis almost had 400 AB and spent the second half injured, and Ruiz and Cruz both spent time on the DL, so players who sat that much cant expect a ton of AB.
