	I know all these guys, but what's the catch - was DeBusschere on IR list at the very beginning of the season? He played 79 of 82 games, so that's all I can think of.

	Phil Jackson was not on the team in 69/70. I'm pretty sure he missed the entire season due to a back injury. I think you need to put DeBusschere in for Jackson to correct the quiz.

	Toby, I'm working directly from the Knicks actual 1969-70 yearbook, which I have right in front of me. That's why I chose to publish this line up as a quiz, and termed it "initial" roster, which is what the yearbook ones usually are. They have 13 bios, but that's the 12 man roster they published. I think Jackson missed half the 68-69 season because of his back, and I think he played some off the bench in '70, but according to the roster they published, Dave was off and Phil was on! That's the challenge of the quiz for me, that's why I put it up. And I LOVED DeBusschere, so keeping him off doesn't provide me with any pleasure, believe me.

	Ok - that must be an awesome yearbook - don't lose it. Online stats for Jackson don't have him playing at all in 69/70.

	The yearbook is a dinky little thing my AUNT found at a library booksale and picked up because it said "Knicks" on it -- says to me, "is this something you'd be interested in?" The original price on it was a buck -- she paid a dime! :)

	I don't know who reported this game as being in error, but it was done AFTER I already explained my source in the comments section above. If Sporcle Admin wants, I will gladly send them a scan of the page from the Knick's Offical Yearbook that shows their published roster for the beginning of the 69-70 season, which is the title of this quiz.

	This is the Box Score for the opening game, Tuesday, October 14, 1969. As you can see, DeBusschere is clearly in the starting lineup. http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/196910140NYK.html He was also definitely on the team, having come over in a trade for , I believe, Walt Bellamy and Howie Komives the previous season.

	I don't know if you people are just plain stupid or so hell-bent on trying to one up folks on this site to prove you have a pair that you just won't pay attention to anything you are told. What makes this quiz fun is that the Knicks published that 12 man roster without Dave, GET IT? He was NOT considered part of the roster when the yearbook was published, GET IT?? THAT'S WHAT MAKES THE QUIZ INTERESTING AND A CHALLENGE. Every quiz on here is not supposed to be some obvious cakewalk so you can score 100 and think you matter. And don't lecture me about DeBusschere, I was bleeding blue and orange before a lot of you even pulled your finger out of your nose for the first time.

	Was DeBusschere one of the 13 bios? If so, I wonder if missing DeBusschere was really a typo on their part rather than a decision to purposely omit him from the roster. All Knicks fans know he was there from the start of the year, and I doubt injury was much of a reason since he played in 79 games.
