Some word counts may be slightly off — no more than a handful, I hope — due to trouble differentiating apostrophes from single-quotes (which, unfortunately, are the default for Shakespeare, and both are surprisingly common). I did my best, dang it!
I did make several adjustments, such as changing &s to ands, separating the word I from the roman numeral I as best I could, and both manually and algorithmically massaging the aforementioned apostrophe/single-quote issue. Also, there's one alternate answer for the benefit of us Americans — see if you can spot it.
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to make Sporcle not treat a, and, and the as the same answer, so if you get any one of those, you're going to automatically be given the other two. Not a big deal, I guess, just irritating. If anyone has the secret, please let me know. |
