| a few gripes here. for starters, Gaul included a lot more territory than what is now france, including most of Spain, Belgium, parts of germany, switzerland, etc. Prussia also is in Russia, now (the capital, Königsburg, is now the Russian city of Kaliningrad). It also included land that is now in Lithuania (memel), Denmark (parts of Schleswig such as Romo), and the German speaking border regions of Belgium. Finally, you say "Present day country/territory", and then the first answer (Albion) is Great Britain, which is neither a country, nor a territory - it is an island. When I put in UK, England, Scotland, and nothing comes up, I feel that is rather unfair. |
