	Thanks for all of the input. I have removed the WNBA teams and replaced them with NFL and NBA teams that moved when they were a part of the AFL and ABA. I did not include teams from the AFL or ABA that folded or moved unless they were teams who merged into the current league. I will also check for WHA teams that may have moved before the merger although I do not think any did.

	Not sure if you want to include it, but the Washington Bullets might belong on the list due to the name change. Ditto the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

	I don't agree with the inclusion of the Angels building a new stadium in an outlying area, one in which they still play and yet still geographically identify as "Los Angeles".

	Angels were a tough call (similar to the Patriots), I decided that since they called themselves Anaheim for a while, then it certainly was a move. This is similar to the Warriors going from San Fransisco to Golden State, even though it is the same area it is a different city. I only considered teams that actually moved and not name changes.

	The Tri-City Hawks didn't move to Milwaukee until 1951, also the Angels one is a bit silly they never really moved, why not include the New York Giants who moved from Queens to Jersey or the Jets who did the same thing. I think the Angels should come off, they never really moved, otherwise include all teams with name changes like the Washington Bullets, Tampa Bay Devil Rays etc.

	By your logic I should also take off the San Fransisco Warriors. They moved to a different major city and changed their city identity. I think that qualifies as a move.

	A couple of additions: Fort Wayne Pistons moved to Detroit in 1957 and the Tri-Cities Blackhawks became the Milwaukee Hawks in 1951, although it looks like you're letting 1950 be your cutoff date for the NBA as several teams folded following that season. I think you should probably go ahead and include the earlier history of current franchises though. None of the WHA teams that joined the NHL relocated prior to the merger, although there were some name changes (New England -> Hartford, Alberda -> Edmonton). I'm curious to know what your cutoff date was for NFL. I think at the very least you should run the existing franchises histories back to their beginnings. If not, you should list your cutoff dates in the description.

	Okay, I see where it says post-1950 now. However, you left off the 1951 New York Yanks and 1952 Dallas Texans in the NFL. They are arguably a continuous franchise that became the Baltimore Colts in 1953.

	I'd dispute the inclusion of the Cleveland Browns on this list. The NFL considers the Browns to be the same franchise as the original Browns, retaining all their franchise records and history and just having a three year hiatus, while the Baltimore Ravens are considered an expansion franchise.

	You should mention that Canadian teams that moved to the US count, cause right now it really doesn't make sense. Or just say North American teams. but the Nordiques, the Jets, the Expos, were all Canadian teams, and your title specifically says "defunct or former US pro sports teams." It doesn't really make sense. Also, when the Metrostars became the Red Bulls, was that just a name change? Good quiz

	you totally missed the Fort Wayne Pistons. And also to your point about entering the whole name ... not everyone knows the city where these teams were (especially the Kings playing in Omaha which they did part-time).

	The Oakland Seals did not move when they became the California Golden Seals, as they continued to play at what was then known as the Oakland Coliseum Arena. I think if you count the Warriors and Angels as moves you have to count the Patriots as well (a change in geographic name as well as a physical move). I suppose the Alberta-to-Edmonton Oilers would have to count since they moved from being an Edmonton/Calgary franchise to just an Edmonton one.
