| Arbogast: some of the problems regarding Meet the Beatles! are due to the differences between the original British Parlophone albums and the American Capitol releases. Meet the Beatles! is an American album. If you're going to count that, you should go back and check the listings for every album released before Rubber Soul, because different songs turn up on different albums, including such American releases as Introducing the Beatles, Beatles VI, Yesterday... and Today, etc. Also, technically Magical Mystery was only released as a double EP in England. They put it out as an LP in America, including a bunch of songs that were previously released as singles. So technically songs like Penny Lane and Hello, Goodbye are singles and not album tracks. The CD was released with all these tracks. Again, if you're including American releases that's fine, but just adjust accordingly. |
