	The only one I missed was Iceland, which was guessed most and I started off with Israel, the least guessed. My brain is odd.

	cuendillar (archived comments) - at the moment, the results are going in alphabetical order with the exception of India which has dropped a couple of slots; like you say, it's interesting to look at the results page and see how people work things out :o)

	I forgot Italy, too! I think it might be the way frequent Sporcle players think - it's the Kyrgyzstan effect. You think of the most complicated ones first and completely disregard the most obvious ones.

	I got Italy last. Kind of surprised I was able to get them all; usually a quiz like this has one of those countries I always for get, like Kiribati or... that other one.

	Is anyone else surprised that Iceland is the most guessed? Maybe it's because it sounds more like "'I'-land" than the others - but that would be true for Ireland too, and way more people are Irish than Icelandic!

	@Akhoya: It's really close, my guess is the difference is the handful of people who thought "Ireland" and then dismissed it erroneously as part of the UK. I went "Iceland" "Ireland" "India" "Illinois" in my thinking so thinking of subnational entities is something that happens. Having the answers in alphabetical order helped a lot, I don't think I would have gotten them all without being able to narrow down the second letter of the missing countries, and with I- a lot of second-letter combinations are immediately discardable "IO-? IP-? IQ-? IR-? Oh right, Iran/Iraq"

	i hate it when the answers to country quizzes are in alphabetical order. some times it can be an unfair advantage, but more often, it hinders my thought process because i stop thinking logically and start running letter combinations through my head to come up with the answers. much better when in ramdom order!

	@climber_v12: That's cause the general name for Ivory Coast on sporcle is it's official name: Cote d'Ivoire. Great Quiz btw, stumbled for a while on Italy like everyone else.

	With the 1st 7 countries out of the way in 20 seconds I figured I was a lock to ace this quiz. Nope. Couldn't remember Italy. Even with the knowledge the countries were listed in alphabetical order I still couldn't figure out the last on the list. (Let's see: IS, IT, IV , etc.) I was too embarrassed to leave a comment, but when I saw a lot of other people forgetting Italy I didn't feel so bad afterall.

	Of course I forgot the most OBVIOUS ones, I'm Irish and I didn't get Ireland, Iceland (which like everyone got) and Israel even though I'm Jewish as well. Shakes head Some of my guesses inclued Illinois, Istanbul and Islam. It is VERY sad. But I got Italy! That has to count for something..
