Wales does not border on Ireland, neither does Scotland. If you are using those denonyms, perhaps you could use England as the brdering "country", even though it's not Sprocle Standard. Or use Old English Sheepdog? I like the idea, just needs some massaging.

Yeah I felt like it'd be kind of obvious if i just said England for the welsh corgi, but same goes for the portuguese water dog i suppose. Welsh, Scottish and English are all technically demonyms of wales, scotland and england, which are countries, just part of the United Kingdom
