| Really looked forward to this quiz when I saw the title and that it had a 5.00 rating. Now I'm guessing you gave yourself that rating. This quiz isn't bad, really, but a lot of these aren't really trick questions. I mean, the power to declare war is one of the most important powers conferred on (branch) in the Constitution, I don't think many people think Texas is bigger than Alaska, and Harry Truman's middle name is pretty well known by this point. Some other questions are too easy to guess (year of ratification, year of inauguration). Also, the commonwealths/states debate has happened on Sporcle before -- basically states can be both commonwealths and states. It's certainly not incorrect to say there are 50 states (let's have the debate again!) Despite all these criticisms it's really not that bad of a quiz, just could use some improvements. |
