You need to allow simply New York as well as New York City. It is called "New York City" to differ it from New York State, but officially it is City of New York, unlike (say) Oklahoma City which is never referred to as simply "Oklahoma".

Aw, mellybmel--cut the guy a break. This quiz has probably been created only 20 or 30 times before, which really isn't that many.

Any bets on what the next million-person city is (after San Jose, which by some reports is already there)? I'm caught between Jacksonville and Charlotte...one has the head start, the other has the crazy growth rates.

Finally a US-cities quiz with realistic numbers. Not the insanely big metro-areas just to get some extra US cities in.

New York, NY chief. Having city there is like not accepting last names only in my book.

I won't even begin to talk about why ANYONE would need 8 minutes for this, but you do realize there are tons better quizzes about the same subject with up to 200 cities....not to mention even published ones by sporcle. But hey, you gotta spend your time doing something.
