and, of, the, etc...none of these are normally capitalized when they're not the first word of a title.

Other ideas: The Man Who Knew Too Much/Little, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, You Can't Take it with You, The Man in the Iron Mask, The Men Who Stare at Goats and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Great quiz!

Also, you should definitely use the original Day the Earth Stood Still, not the awful Keanu Reeves one!

Haha, ya maaxwell I certainly debated which day the earth stood still to use, but I decided that the newest would be more getable....

Not enough time, especially since somehow I kept mistakenly guessing 7 word titles, counting the words after the fact, and then saying oh man that can't be it.

The first one I tried was 'The assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford' and was dissapointed it wasn't in the quiz. Nice idea for a quiz though!

@GeminiNL: That title has too many words. But if someone makes a Ten-Word Movie Titles quiz they can use that one and...well, just that one.

@The_Snakes - either you see a lot of really terrible movies and memorize them or you cheated..... either option is dubious

For some reason when I typed "One Flew Over The Cockoo's Nest" it would not work. I'm positive I spelled it right, because I retook the quiz just to make sure. Anyone else have that problem?

This quiz is about 10000x harder when you mistake "six word" for "six letter".

First applicable movie quiz on Sporcle which did not mention "The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou". Thank you, at least, for that!

I saw the director "Wes Craven" and typed "a nightmare on elm street" then 2, 3, 4, before realizing that they were all released in the 80's.

Please accept "Eighty" for the 1956 "Around the World in Eighty Days." "80" is used on the poster; "Eighty" is used on the IMDB entry.

sweett310 - i had the same problem, except I kept trying Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. And I JUST NOW realized (as I was typing) that's not even 6 words.

I didn't read all the comments, but a small clue would have been nice, even if it was fairly obscure. I lost interest.
