| @ Brad: Are you stating that to call Mt. Everest the highest mountain is a mistake? Because colloquially it is assumed that mountains start at sea level. If the implication is otherwise, then it is always stated. Secondly, using different sources with different criteria for what a city is will almost always give separate answers....maybe the source you used stated Shanghai as the largest. But it is widely accepted that Tokyo is the largest city in the world by the World Gazetteer, World Atlas, United Nations, CIA Factbook, City Population and others. |
