| The Northern Constellation definition is a problem. I'm assuming there will be a Southern sequel, so if you use a definition which only accepts constellations which lie wholly on one side of the celestial equator, then you'll get some which straddle it (such as Ophiuchus or the segments of Argo) which don't appear in either quiz. However, if you define them as being visible from the relevant Earthly hemisphere, you'd get huge number of doubles, because someone standing at a point 1" north of the equator sees pretty much exactly the same as somebody standing 1" south of it. Solutions please? |
