	I chose this list in particular because it is one of the most diverse lists I've seen as to 80s albums, and it does a good job of getting the well-known pop albums (Like a Virgin, No Jacket Required), the best-selling mainstream rock albums (Appetite For Destruction, Back in Black, Born in the USA), pioneering hip-hop albums (Straight Outta Compton, It Takes a Nation...), essential heavy metal (British Steel, Reign in Blood, Peace Sells...) and important alternative albums (Los Angeles, Pretty Hate Machine). However, if you STILL have some qualms as to this list, feel free to point them out in the comments :D

	Well, no list is perfect but this one is indeed pretty good. Cloud Nine and TW Vol 1 are pretty bad albums in my book though. My favorite list still is the one on acclaimedmusic.net anyway.

	One of the better lists I've seen, although I would have liked to see Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark alongside or instead of some of the other synthpop stuff (Duran Duran, Human League, Numan). Nice to see the Soft Boys and a couple Kate Bush albums. Can you accept "Siouxsie Sioux", "Sioux", "Banshees" and/or "Siouxsie Sioux and the Banshees", since I tried all of those then gave up on it?

	Agree with dollymix, Architecture & Morality would have been good on this list (although I'm slightly biased :P). However, this is, as stated before, one of the broadest lists of 80s music in terms of genres I've ever seen, which is good.

	Another OMD fan here, but I'm not slighted. I don't think there was a single album which stood out from the others. Disappointed also at the lack of Housemartins. Nonetheless, as Alex says, a great diverse list.

	I'm not much of a country music fan, but it feels like any truly comprehensive list of the "133 most important albums of the decade" shouldn't completely ignore the genre.

	The only album I really miss on this list would be ABC's Lexicon Of Love. That's a deserved classic. I would have liked to see Talk Talk, Grace Jones and The Pet Shop Boys on the list, but, meh, can't have everything. Any list that recognizes Siouxsie & The Banshees is fine by me. ;)

	You'd think that after 3 times of reading the damn name, I would've noticed that second "u" was missing. Sorry to gbv and fla, as you've noticed, reading German isn't my strong suit. That will get fixed momentarily.

	Good list, but there's two mistakes in the Neubauten entry (which is my favorite EN album). First off, the word in the album's title is Zeichnungen, not Zeichmungen. Second, the band's name has a u with an umlaut in the first word. This is generally transliterated into English as "ue." Thus, the band's name should really be shown as Einstuerzende Neubauten, although the Einsturzende spelling should be acceptable.

	You can quibble with the omissions (Double Nickels on the Dime by the Minutemen and Robyn Hitchcock's I Often Dream of Trains come immediately to mind) but the diversity and breadth of the lists is impressive and makes for an entertaining quiz. And I agree with dudemanbearpig that Rush gets the shaft by critics who make these kinds of lists.

	This is a pretty good list, and my only (minor) quibble about omissions would be Heaven & Hell by Black Sabbath and Blizzard of Oz by Ozzy Osbourney. I'd also include Listen Like Thieves by INXS, but Kick was clearly the bigger seller. And finally, the list could use some more mainstream 80's rock bands like Night Ranger, or Whitesnake or REO Speedwagon, the latter of which had a major hit with Hi Infidelity. But all in all, a pretty solid list.
