| @nhynes89: There is no such award as the Defensive MVP. The NFL has the MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year, as well as the two rookies of the year. Although rare, the MVP award itself can be won by defensive player (the most recent was Lawrence Taylor in 1986). While Tom Brady won both the MVP and Offensive Player of the Year, it doesn't alway work out that way. Last year, Peyton Manning won the MVP and Chris Johnson won Offensive Player of the Year. |
