| I had Vladimir Guerrero as a bonus answer for Los Angeles until I discovered that the year he won the MVP was the last year the Angels were simply called the "Anaheim Angels," so there's no LA/Anaheim debate for that answer. I didn't count ABA MVPs, and only counted the Associated Press's NFL MVP award. And my apologies to Frank Nighbor and Billy Burch of the Ottawa Senators and Hamilton Tigers, respectively. They won the first two Hart Trophies in 1924 and 1925. I didn't include them because (1) Hamilton folded in 1925 and Ottawa folded in 1934, (2) Hamilton has no other "Big 4" teams (3) The Ottawa Senators of 1924 are a different franchise than the current Senators (4) absolutely no one would get them. If you can make a good case for their inclusion, I'll consider it, but I think keeping them out is the right call. |
