You need to accept one-letter answers; "a" and "y" don't display. Also "etre" should be an option; it displays when clicking "sont."

Thanks, I forgot to click that option. Entries with accents should now all be acceptable without them.

This was fun! It's funny to see such common words like "et" that I didn't even think of (in English or French)!

Fun - found myself singing all the French songs and saying all the phrases I could think of.

It seems a bit odd that Je, moi, tu, toi, mon, ton and so on aren't on this quiz.

I think that's a quirk of the material used to compile the list - newspapers and such, rather than literature or other sources that would use the first person more often.

Why is "ans" plural? You should accept "an" alone.

If 'le' is ranked second, why is 'la' nowhere in sight?

I combined those ones, le, la, and les will get you that answer.

If combining, shouldn't une work with un? And what about sa and ses? Or is it only the masculine singular for those two lexemes?

@AdamBishop (re: the newspaper comment): It's also noticeable in the lack of subjective words like "très" and the presence of "information-type words" like "an".
Anyway, maybe the meaning of "il" could be shown as "he/it", as in "il pleut".

and the presence of 'également' in the list – as if it comes straight off the french constitution or something.
