Amazing how Woodstock gets so much attention for being massive (mostly because of the surrounding circumstances) but it was not even the largest concert of its type during that time period. Very interesting. But Rod Stewart? Seriously?? How did you let this happen, Brazil? So sad.

I think you mean Copacabana. I'd also be nice if we had the band(s) performing.

Ah, yes. Typo. And I'd put them, but for some of them the list is ridiculously long. So I suppose they can be sluethed out separately.

Rod Stewart was playing the New Year's show in Brazil. Does that even count?

Hadn't seen it called that before, but google says it is also, so I'll add it.

Thanks for the comment JohnJF, I'd have missed that one otherwise. I'm glad there's finally some country music represented in these quizzes.

I thought Live Aid and Hope for Haiti would be here, but i guess this doesn't count TV audience

pretty sure the Woodstock number is grossly underestimated.

I would imagine TV audiences don't count, seeing as they not in attendance at the concert.

Makes me feel better that an orchestra is more widely attended than a lot of the crap that's out there.

The Rod Stewart concert was a free concert. That's why it had 3.5 million.
