	Just a note on France. Reunion, Guadeloupe, Martinique and French Guiana (and Mayotte as of 2011) are department d'outre mer, and therefore integral parts of France not territories. The other Caribbean holdings, St Pierre and Miquelon, Southern and Antarctic Lands and islands in Australasia/Oceania are overseas collectivities which are not integral to France which is why they haven't been mentioned here.

	Greece should really be on here, as islands such as Rhodes are really more part of Asia than Europe.

	good quiz, i just missed out yemen, the UK could be on here aswell as they have a lot of overseas territories. Falklands, bermuda, antarctic territory ,british virgin islands.

	The UK shouldn't be on here since the territories are not integral parts of the country. I tried to add some bonuses but for some reason when you typed them in nothing appeared, and that was quite annoying so I left them out. They included Cyprus and Timor Leste, since they aren't actually on two continents but considered to be in one or the other.

	What exactly is the line between "territory" and "integral part of the country"? In the case of the Netherlands, there are three countries: (1) the Netherlands (European part), (2) Aruba, (3) Netherlands Antilles. Together, these form the state "Kingdom of the Netherlands". It's definitely not like the French departements d'outre mer, but on the other hand, citizens from Aruba and the Antilles are allowed free access to the Netherlands, not only to visit but also to settle.

	If you ever figure out the bonus answer business, Iceland is divided in two by the North American and European tectonic plates. I wouldn't say it's part of North American as a straight forward answer though, because then you'd have to include Russia and Japan as North American too! (That plate is bigger than you might think).

	Yeah, it is a confusing situation. I wouldn't say that Aruba and Netherlands Antilles are territories, they're autonomous parts of the Kingdom, similar to the Faeroe Islands and Greenland in Denmark or Vojvodina in Serbia. You're right to say they aren't the same as the departments d'outre mer, but I see how they are a bit of a fuzzy area.

	A minor point - the boundary between Europe and Asia in Kazakhstan is generally accepted to be the Ural River, not the Ural Mountains.

	I can't find a map to tell me where the Ural Mountains finish, but you're definitely right about the river. That was an oversight on my part, the info part now has both included.

	I stopped to comment after I got to all the countries that have territories on other continents, which has been done before...stick with just the countries that span more than one continent. And if there is a discrepancy with Indonesia, what about Palau or Papua New Guinea? Or toss in Cyprus, which can be considered a European country or an Asian one.

	The discrepancy with Indonesia is to the west of the island of New Guinea and as such, Papua New Guinea is always considered part of Australasia/Oceania. Likewise there are no such issues with Palau. I mentioned earlier that I was trying to add bonus answers to this quiz including Cyprus, Panama too would be valid since there is a debate as to where North and South America divide. This quiz does not involve any territories, only integral parts of nations and autonomous regions considered part of their territory. This quiz is pretty old now, and I agree it has been done to death and I've never been happy with any one of them, including this one.
