Caucasian developed nations (save Japan). I didn't know which way this quiz would go. Good idea for a quiz

Surprises me to see the Netherlands here, considering our tap water is consistently proven by consumer-organizations to be (at least)as good as bottled water.

Way to contribute way more than necessary to global warming, Italy. I hope they recycle.

Hang on.... Idea aint bad, but the source has only looked at these 18 countries. In reality these aren't the countries with the highest consumption, but is the ranking of the 18 countries analysed.

I believe from looking at the source of the source that is the top countries of a larger survey. I will see what I can find out though.

Updated the quiz with new, more reliable data. Big differences to be sure. I was also able to extend in to 30.

Can "Hong Kong" appear if you type in China? Because really, A) Hong Kong is not a country and B) Hong Kong is part of China.

I just ended up removing it, sliding everything below it up, and adding a new #30. The Chinese average was on a whole well below, the list, and seemed silly to include a separate district of a country as a category.

I'm intrigued by Mexico being listed so high. I assume that means that tourists drink so much bottled water that it amounts to that many liters per citizen. Although I suppose you also have to use bottled water for anything you don't boil, like water for brushing teeth and washing fruit. Interesting!
