| 61st time this quiz was played, and I was just the first to get as many as 54. (It did take me a few tries, but I'm not saying how many.) For some reason this quiz takes longer than most to accept an answer, meaning you have to pause for a few nanoseconds in between typing each answer. Some quizzes it is virtually instantaneous, but this one there is a discernible lag. Anyone know why that is, or is it just me? Also, why do some schools accept just st for state, while some require the full word. In trying to type the most answers in 60 seconds, shorter names are preferable, such as Ohio St, Kent St, Iowa St, Ball St, NC St...but they you hit Penn St...and nothing happens until you type "ate". I feel that the quiz should be consistent, either accept st for all schools with "State" in them, or none. Still a great quiz though, and I'll offer one tip: the old Southwest Conference is a gold mine for short names: Texas, Baylor, Houston, Rice, TCU, SMU. |
