"Side line" is more usually referred to as "touch line", also you could allow "D" for "penalty arc" although I guess this would be too easy to get by accident. Also the positions are somewhat arbitrary - it's a difficult one as there are many different names depending on the tactic used by the team. For example - wing-back, libero, anchor-man, trequartista are all recognised positions that differ subtly but definitely from some of the ones you've listed. Cool quiz though - thumbs up!

Thanks for the feedback. Sorted out touchline as a synonym for sideline - dunno how I missed that. As for the positions, yeah, that was always tricky trying to get a reasonable list because, as you say, there are some subtleties with the more specialised positions, so I decided to keep it more general (I even considered generalising further to just have GK, DF, MF and FW). The other are accepted as synonyms for similar positions though - so wingback => fullback, libero => sweeper, anchor => defensive midfielder, trequartista => striker. It's not perfect, but I think it works OK.

My results got messed up...hmm. Not sure why. Did record all I got. Oh well. Good idea for a quiz! Few suggestions: -For "Corner quadrant" you should also accept "corner arc." -I didn't get "corner flags" when I typed "corner flag." (but, i figured it out eventually...just the little things that get the quiz picked up) -I also believe the positions to be a little too arbitrary. But, again, you're opinion. And to "dutchesNcluthes" : "socks" are a required part of the kit. You cannot play without them.

Good quiz, but how about allowing "ball bounce" for drop ball?
