Some of these are damn hard. Wouldnt of gotten Umberger or Dumont in a million years. Fun quiz though.

@mlbnflwhiz - Id rather keep the quiz with players people have heard of , not 3rd string RB's..besides DJ Ware's name is Danny..I wanted to add guys like CJ Spiller and TJ Houshmandzadeh but they only have 1 name as well.

Wow, I got DJ Augustin but missed Burnett lol. I think the only ones that I actually knew without just randomly thinking of guys with initials were Redick and Drew though.

BJ Upton's name is Melvin Emanuel Upton, BJ stands for Boss-man Jr because his dad (The Boss-man) used to work for an MLB team and he would visit the clubhouse. That would be a good one to add to really throw people

@pgrossma...thats funny you mention Upton cause I was going to add him but didnt cause I figured BJ was more of a nickname rather then initials..it for sure would of threw people off.

CC and AJ were the only ones I got without thinking. Ive actually heard CC reffered to as Carsten Charles on a few Yankee broadcasts. The rest of them were real tricky though. Especially the ones that arent the exact initials.

Of the 5 NBA players on your list, there's JJ, JJ, DJ, OJ, and CJ, and yet only OJ actually has a J as a second name.

For Smith , his name is Earl so J.R is a nickname so that doesnt work , for Hardy , I already had JJ Putz so didnt wanna have 2 JJ's. And for Snow I didnt include him cause he isnt active.

If you do decide to include "non-active" players, though... F.P. Santangelo would like a word.

Cool quiz. Not all obvious, which is surprising if you've only ever heard these athletes only called by their "initials" name.

Am I missing something or shouldn't there be OJ Simpson on the list?

Actually, I found a few of these rather deceiving. For instance, JJ Redick are the initials he is known by (the name of the quiz) and it does not relate to his middle name. Wikipedia notes his twin sisters kept repeating his first initial and that's how he got the nickname. Having said that, there are some really great names in here and a few obscure ones.
