| @treemeister2: THanks for the suggestions. I'll find a replacement for the Final Fantasy series. I cant use Mario, though, because there's really only a couple games that follow the series. I can't make bonus answers because if i put "ee" in the extra column, and then the console name and year, it won't hide it. If you know a way, please tell me. Cheetahmen was a game that was originally realeased on the NES. It was called Action 52 because it came with 52 other games in the same cartridge. It sold for about $200 in the U.S. The second game, Cheetahmen 2, was finished, but never released because the company went bankrupt, I think. The cartridges were later found in a warehouse, and sold in second hand stores. Swordquest was one of the original Adventure games. Along with being a great game (for it's time), you had to collect cluse from the game and the comic book that came with it. You would send the cluse you found to Atari, and they would choose the top 8 or something to play a special version of each game. The winner would get a prize. For Earthworld, it was a medallion pendant type thing. For Fireworld, it was a gold chalice. For Waterworld, the winner would've gotten a golden crown, though it was released in limited supply, and the contest was never held for this game. In Airworld, which would've been the final game, the winner would've gotten an elaborately decorated philosipher's stone. After that, it was said that the winners of all four contests would've competed for a gold and silver sword. Unfortunately, when Jack Tramiel bought Atari, he had the project canceled. It is often rumored that he has the sword, stone, and crown in his living room.
@BCC_Crew: There are about twenty "spin-off" games of Pokemon. I'm aware that I left off those. I did it because I figured that the Legend of Zelda series and the Final Fantasy series were long enough to pick up the slack. |
