| Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Georgia all straddle the Europe-Asia border, just like Turkey and Russia, so I don't see why they are here. Armenia tends to be considered European for political and cultural reasons (it is a member of the Council of Europe, for example), just like Cyprus. The inclusion of Guyana and Suriname is also a little dubious, as CONCACAF specifically covers Central America and the Caribbean, as well as North America - and Guyana and Suriname are often considered Caribbean nations (they are members of CARICOM, for example). |
