Yeah, multilingual cities could have their alternative names included as acceptable answers. Here's alternative (Swedish language) official names for Finnish cities: Helsinki - Helsingfors, Espoo - Esbo, Turku - Åbo, Oulu - Uleåborg.

Nice quiz, though I think it would be nice to have them appear on the map itself. It's surprising to me that there aren't any larger German cities on the coast.

could you accept konigsberg for kaliningrad? this was the name of the city for nearly 800 years until it was given the to Russians after the Potsdam conference. other than that great quiz

Liepaja is in Latvia and only has anout 80,000 people so it doesn't make the list.
