Good game but Husky is spelled wrong. It's Siberian Husky except when it's plural then it's Siberian Huskies.

Why are some singualr and some plural? should accept both. Also, the parens just confuse things.

Yes, put the name right way round - e.g. english springer spaniel, golden retriever, without the plurals.

The name is "golden retriever", which is what I put. I even tried plural. Why should we have to put "retrievers (golden)"? And I didn't get the corgi because I didn't make it plural.

This quiz was NOT well thought out. It should be all the same, as I missed about 6 of them because I didn't realize I would need to put some singular and some plural. It should be singular all the way around.

Also, don't require parenthesis, who in their right mind would think to enter the answer that way!!

This is a bad quiz. Don't require a plural form, or Retriever (specific). That's not a natural guess.
