	I love when it's a fill-in-the-map quiz! Sadly, I was only able to name cantons that share names with Switzerland's four largest cities (Zurich, Geneva, Basel and Bern).

	I'm Swiss, yet this was really difficult because this quizz doesn't accept all the answers in the 3 official languages. Geneva is even in english, which isn't an official languages so there's a lot of guessing.

	Yes, it should accept the alternates of the different languages plus English where different. Apart from that, two missing - Schwyz and Zürich. I really need some brain...

	Dare I say - this quiz is too Swiss-centric... Seriously, though - when I read "Can you name the cantons of Switzerland?" my only answer could be a resounding NO!?!

	@VinceNet - I believe Switzerland has four official languages: French, German, Italian, and Romansh. Do correct me if I am wrong.

	Well done graphically, but please accept Tessin and Genf and maybe specify Basel (Land and Stadt).

	@Pedroia15 : Yes, you're correct, the term I should have used was "national languages" (which are German, French and Italian) whereas the official languages are as you said "German, French, Italian and Romansh". on another note, it seems weird that the quizz automatically assign it to both cantons when typing Basel but not when typing Appenzell.

	Well, we could argue about the Romansh language (why not include it when you're at it?), but at least "Grischun" should be in, since Romansh is an official language in that canton. Of course you could go even further and add Swiss German (Baselbiet...).

	@Bob: well, there are literally hundreds of quizzes on here where I feel the same - can you name the starting lineup of High Street's middle school all star baseball team? With professional help I worked out the solution of just not going for these quizzes and letting those that know about it still enjoy them. (For the record: I like watching baseball once in a while, I just have no clue about players and teams)

	I must re iterate what has already been said about the spelling. I lived in Switzerland for some time but could not do this due to the spelling. Although English is widely spoken there, it is not an official language. Geneva is never spelt that way in CH. very poor quiz due to the ignorance of the setter

	Fine quiz! @pangloss - Geneva is the established English name of the city and canton and is therefore admissable. Unless you have more compelling reasons, it is an overstatement, if not downright rude, to call the quiz 'very poor' or accuse the creator of'ignorance

	I do not think that pangloss has any objections to including "Geneva" as an alternate answer for said canton. It's just that the "native" answers (i.e. those used by Swiss people) should work as well. Basically when you answer a quiz on names in your own country, you should do so in your own language, as it is the case with most other quizzes over here.

	Geneve worked for me so thanks for adding that. Tessin still didn't work for Ticino but since Italian is the only official language there, that's understandable.
