@demonstah: I don't know what you mean with "standard or random orientation", but if you're asking which way north is: North is up on all the images. As far as I know, Google Maps doesn't allow me to rotate the map.
@jUNKIEd: In Arabic, Soqotra is written with the letter Qaf, often transliterated as a Q in English, which is why I chose to have it here as Soqotra. I have a lot of alternate spellings though, including Socotra, so I'd be interested in hearing what you tried that didn't work.
@RedLIon: Given the obscurity of some of the answers (let's face it, people aren't going to guess Isabela, Viti Levu or Kodiak just in case), and the fact that there's a lot of scrolling involved here, I chose to not force you to enter the answers in order. If people want to cheat, then that's their loss.
