I really think this might work better with the "Force answers in order" game option selected. My reason is that under that game option the hint # will appear above the Enter Island: entry box. So you can be looking at the whole map without worrying about which island number you're entering. Also, if one thinks island #10 is Cebu, should one really get credit for that? This change would prevent that sort of thing from happening.
Also, if you incorporated the area information from the Area column (and eliminated that extra column) into the # column you would see the following for example:
9 (4,467 km2)
