A fine quiz, which I was about to write myself! The CIA World Factbook would be a better source than Wikipedia. I doubt it's missing anything from this list.
Greenland and the Faroe Islands are neither disputed nor dependent so they shouldn't be here: they're integral, though somewhat autonomous, parts of the Kingdom of Denmark, in the same way that England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are parts of the UK. You could try to broaden the definition of the quiz to include them but I don't think that would work so well. The list you have looks exhaustive, which is good because `Can you name the capitals of the territories that I thought of?' is much less interesting than `Can you name the capitals of all the territories?' But renaming it to include Greenland and the Faroes will either lose that or open the floodgates to the constituent countries of the UK and probably states of federal republics like the USA and Mexico. |
