i love how patriot fans act like winning this avenges 2008. even if the patriots win this one, the giants still ended a perfect season.

@akabuca96 I didn't copy your quiz. I made a different Super Bowl quiz with different facts about each team and no middle column. I have no idea how it became this quiz. The admins must have messed with it or something.

Excellent quiz, and I just can't wait until Sunday. Go Giants (because they are representing the NFC).

Since this is a Super Bowl quiz, and Super Bowls are never defined by year, have us put in the Super Bowl number of last appearance (preferably, using Roman numerals). Decent quiz, but if someone knows a bit about the Super Bowl, the NFL, division, dates, and days of the week can be eliminated.

As a Jets fan, this is pretty much the worst-case scenario for me Super Bowl wise. My cross-town rival against my division rival. I'm going to root for the Giants, just because the thought of Brady winning a fourth ring makes me want to shoot myself. Good luck everyone!

Somehow, while staring at this recent Sports Illustrated entitled "Kraftwork" trying to remember the name of the Patriots CEO, I failed to guess Robert Kraft.

On my previous comment (8th from the top) i wasn't saying that people shouldn't be acting like the Pats are villains, i just wanted to see if people would agree.

it figures that only 6.9% know who the last new england hall of famer is. there were only about 20k patriots fans until 2001. shame that team has such a piss poor history prior to the past 10 years.

@cardiaccats, this won't avenge the result of the 2008 season, it will avenge however the pain Patriots fans feel about that game, extremely similar to the Boone HR for Sox fans. Sure, that HR will always be in history, however the 04 Sox erased that pain completely. This is the chance to do just that for the Patriots.

@cocky, I am guessing you are somewhat of an old timer. I'm 47 and I still write it "boro" but it's been changed to "borough" for 5-10 years I think. Maybe longer. I typed in the first, and when that didn't work, added "ugh." Which, come to think of it, sums that town up nicely for this Colts fan.

Instead of "previous Super Bowl Appearance", it should perhaps say "most recent Super Bowl Appearance". That or you need to start accepting other years. 1986, 1991, etc.

The Wikipedia article indicated its always been spelled Foxborough, but said Foxboro was an often used alternative. Te post office says Foxboro and the old stadium was Foxboro Stadium. @Bobman, yes I'm old as well, but just 44. BTW, what do you think the Colts should do about Manning and/or Luck?

Curtis Martin was just inducted into the Hall of Fame, Class of 2012. Even though he wasn't a Patriot at the end of his career, he should still count.
