This needn't be a minefield. Someone guesses no. 28, just let it be one less point.

Minefield quizzes get 10x more plays than normal quizzes which in turn keeps them in the "limelight" in the User Created section. More plays means your quiz doesn't immediately fall into obscurity. It's hard to blame people for making minefields even when it's unnecessary for good quiz play - but I still do.

As a Canadian it was quite easy to get a lot of these just by the fact they operate in both countries.

I hate minefields. This is why i'm rating this quiz low.

I've played this quiz about 10 times. I can't get the last 4. I wish there was a way to see the answers.

This, my friends, is why the US has the highest obesity rate in the world. Nice quiz though

This might just be the most annoying quiz ever! Tired of clicking and getting my first answer wrong and having to start over, especially after just finished several of these quizzes with differing answers. Moving on to a new quiz!

I really freakin' hate minefields that have no reason to be a minefield other than to get multiple plays of your quiz. I've played this stupid one 6 times now, and I quit. Unminefield it and it would probably be a favourite, but in this state.... nuh uh.

Quizno's is still on here?? This must be old data--thought that place died out years ago.

@snickerdoodle27 There are only Whataburgers in 10 states and they're only in the south. I hadn't heard of it until recently. Apparently there's one on every corner in Texas though...

As a Dane: Pick all of those you've heart off and you'll be sure they are the highest selling. That have me 12. The rest was just guessing...

@ TheCleverone: That tactic got me off to a reasonable start. Then I had a think about Sporcle quizzes, Stephen King books, Dean Koontz books, etc. - got me some more.
I got the rest wrong.

Though Tim Horton's may be found in the U.S., it is most certainly not U.S. based.

I hate it when quizzes are changed like this - if you wanted to make it no longer a minefield then it should be a new quiz. The stats after this quiz are meaningless, and that takes away a big part of my enjoyment of this site.

Australian here - 20/25 right; 8-9 of those options are available here (Burger King is called Hungry Jacks, and I am not sure if Dunkin' Donuts is still around). There is a Wendy's but sells ice-cream instead (http://www.wendys.com.au/).

I had the same thought as JamesJonathan - what does "US-based" mean? Does it mean "found in the US" or "headquartered in the US"? If the first, than Tim Hortons does fit, if the latter, obviously not. Might it be more clear to say "the 25 highest-selling quick-serve restaurant chains in the US"?

(Not that it matters, as it isn't in the top 25 anyway. If they'd expand to more states, it probably would be, though!)
