Is "Tiny" (1960s) a typo for Tina?

I guess I deserve the bad score for guessing 'Reba' and 'Cher'.

Of the ones I missed, five are family members' names and four are friends' names. Luckily none of them will ever see my score.

I must remember to spell the same name in different ways. Can we have a 5 letter verson, so many of the names I thought of had too many letters ;-)

12% somehow got Lula? Sometimes you see stats on Sporcle that are dead giveaways people are taking quizzes multiple times. This is one of those occasions.

ktappe - there are a bunch of name nerds on Sporcle, who take (and create) lots of name-based quizzes. I've gotten much better at name quizzes over time, myself. Lula is also rising in recent baby-naming charts, so it's not as obscure as it used to be.

Hah, I got Lula by mistyping Lila. Would never have got it if I hadn't though, and never knew some of those names were as popular as they are. Good idea for a quiz, I'd like to see a five or six letter version too. Or a boy's version.

@ktappe: The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich has a character named Lula. It's a bit popular and the movie One for the Money that came out not too long ago is based on the series. So it isn't so outlandish that a number of people might be guessing it.

Emma and Lily both got incredibly popular in the 00's. Friends and Harry Potter?

Cannot believe Cate or Kate isn't on here! Anyway Friends definitely made Emma popular in the States. There are so many Lily's now. HIMYM?

Amazing, I can get "Jada" but manage to miss not one, but TWO of my cousins' names, and the name of one of my best friends. And also, as an added bonus, the name of that friend's mother. Ah, Sporclitis, there may be no cure for you, but at least you are amusing.

The Friends' Emma was born in 2002 but the name Emma was already in the top 100 by 1995 and top 20 by 1999. It was #13 in 2001, the year before the baby was born on the show.
