Nigeria? I think that 20% of the population speaks English. That puts it ahead of Canada.

The list here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_English-speaking_population is vastly different from the one above. Even though it is on Wikipedia there is a source next to each countries entry so it isn't "made up" like some people say. Even if you are going by first language the list in the quiz is still off.

There are definitely more. Millions of Indians speak English. Nigeria is the most obvious one. It's also a lingua franca in many former British colonies in Africa. Nevertheless, good quiz! I got 100% but it took me ages to guess the last one.

This quiz doesn't take into account countries where English is not necessarily the primary language, but where it is still widely spoken as an official language (i.e. India, and most of the former British colonies in Africa).

According to the previous census, 4% of Indians speak English as a first language. That's 40 million, and doesn't include all those who speak it as a second language which is at least another couple of hundred million.

Many of the Indians who speak English as a second language speak it better than some who speak it as a first language.

Also you have used a % of the c. 300m Americans but 100% of the 58m in the UK (who don't _all_ speak English) and the Canadian figure looks spuriously exact

Wait a minute! Are you actually saying that more than half of the population of Germany is English speaking? That throws a new light on Winston Churchill's great work "History of the English Speaking Peoples".

You need 2 separate entries for Pakistan and Italy - it makes no sense to put them as alternatives

there are 14 rows but you only have 10 which is being said so technically there should be 14 out of 14 instead of 10 out of 10 and pakistan and italy are two different countries so it should really be 15 out of 15 instead of 10 out of 10

Why are Italy and Pakistan put together?
