I was waiting for someone to do this after seeing the US one! You've put major and captain in the same box for army though, they should be separate ranks.

Your quiz doesn't match your source. It's "Able seaman" not "Able shipman", and so on for the other "shipman" ranks. You have misspelled "lietenant" in the Royal Marines - it should be "lieutenant". Also would be nice if abbreviations were allowed (lt colonel, lt commander).

can you include things like "warrant officer class 1" please. Also the RM have lieutenant colonel not lt major and the RAF need warRant officer. Other than that really good :-)

The quiz is ok in general but in the Royal Navy they don't have a fleet chief petty officer and the ratings are not called "Seamen". They are Leading Rates, Able Rates and Ordinary Rates. Any doubt on that should be cleared up with a look at this page: http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/training-and-people/rn-life/uniforms-and-badges-of-rank/tri-service-badges/tri-service-badges-ratings/

Couple of things: 1.) You spelt Marshall wrong, 2.) RN don't have Fleet Chief Petty Officers any more they have Warrant Officers 1st and 2nd Class 3.) It's Ordinary Seaman not Normal Seaman 4.) Royal Marines have Lieutenant-Colonels not Lieutenant Majors

CSM, RSM, BSM, ASM, CQMS etc. are appointments, not ranks. However, the ones which ARE ranks are things like Colour Sergeant, Craftsman, Rifleman, Fusilier etc. and should be included. Disappointing.

The Royal Marines do not have a General or Lieutenant-General. Also, Lieutenant-Major should be Lieutenant-Colonel. Other than that, good quiz!
