The Titanic didn't sink in America (or in American waters) and wasn't an American ship so really doesn't belong on this list. Also, the horse race is the Preakness 'Stakes' not 'States'.

Sweden isn't in America either. I would suggest expanding this quiz to World events and dropping some of the most obscure items.
