Darth Vader – A Look Back

As part of their 10-year anniversary, Facebook created a “Look Back” video for every user that “compiles your highlights since joining.” And if we are really honest with ourselves, most of these are a just compilation of poor hair choices, cheesy status updates, and stolen quotes from Upworthy and aren’t really worth the minute it takes to watch.

Thanks to YouTuber Joshua Dill, that all changes; you can now see Darth Vader’s Look Back, complete with well-”liked” posts of “No, I am your father!” and shared pictures captioned ‘Slayin’ jedi. Darkside FTW!’

Beware watching this video however, it is likely filled with a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

A new Star Wars film, Episode 7, is due for release on December 18, 2015.

If Brands’ Slogans Were More Honest, It Might Look A Little Like This

Truth in advertising seems like such a contradiction in terms these days. But Clif Dickens, the man behind honestslogans.com, is trying in his own way to change that. Dickens has become an internet sensation by ever so slightly modifying brands slogans by calling them out for how their products are actually used by consumers. Honestly, you might be more inclined to buy some of these products if their slogans made as much as sense as the ones that Dickens has created.

“All advertising is puffery, trying to have this target audience live in this bubble where the product is glorious,” Dickens said. “The whole idea is that everyone knows that’s not true. The whole idea is stripping all this down, cut the BS and ‘Here’s what I really think about this.’”

It’s funny cause it’s true:
