Featured Game of the Week (6/4/2014)

Over here in Sporcle-land, we’ve been thinking about ways to spice the blog up a bit and get regular content out there for our loyal readers to peruse. To that end, we’re writing a weekly blog post featuring a quiz published within the last 7 days that really wowed us.

About the Quiz Maker

RobPro has been around Sporcle since January 2010, and has been a very active user in that time. He’s the guy responsible for the evil and yet still addicting Clickable 1-100 Mines quiz that had us all clicking for hours, is currently 8th on the Quizmaster Leaderboard, and is the recipient of this Pick of the Week!

What’s the Quiz About?

Ever played Flags of the World? Well, this quiz is that one on steroids. It gives all 197 flags in order of difficulty based on the results of the original flags quiz. It begins with the most easily recognizable flags of the world, but based on your flag-knowledge it can get difficult very quick.

It’s a goal worthy of any Sporcler to memorize the flags for every country in the world, and this quiz is primed to assist you on your road to glory!

What Did Users Think?

We think that crouchingdomo had the right idea when he commented: ‘To answer your question, Quizmaker RobPro….no. No, I cannot. And I stand in awe of the 10.2% who can!’

We also have to sort of agree with stormyclouds: ‘No. 56: Texas….Wait a second!’

And then there was Limerick_Man:

‘Switzerland rules! Let’s discuss
They’re neutral; they won’t attack us
Their banks are auspicious
Their cheese is delicious
Oh! And their flag’s a big plus’

With over 35,000 game plays and a 4.7 rating, Flags of the World: Progressively Harder gave vexillologists and less experienced users a chance to learn the world’s flags and have fun doing it!
